Only half the female characters on WoW are actually female players according to MTV.com (like we didn't know that already :P). Check the article out here.

Due to the maintenance and such, Blizzard are handing out two extra days to everyone in Europe, at least for players who's accounts were active last weekend.

A new PvP realm is coming to Europe next week named Haumarush. There is also a new German PvP server named Terrodar on it's way. They should launch during the weekly maintenance on Wednesday.

The server may be 4 days away from launching but you can already join the community discussions for the server at the newly launched Haumarush.com.

The new Haumarush server is live and very busy. Within the first minute of it going online there were 600 people in the que! Might be best give it a week or two before starting your character.

Oh yes. Upper Deck Entertainment are making a trading card game based on WoW. Presumably for people who can't afford the actual game ;). They will be out next year according to the official website.

Blizzard have extented character transfers until 3pm pacific time today (rather than ending yesterday).

WoW-Europe has announced they have banned over 1500 accounts for cheating and violating the ToS.

According to an article here the Chinese government are blocking players from spending more than three hours on WoW at one time. That is really going to suck as it takes you longer than that to get through a lost of the instances.
