A company named Multiverse Networks are releasing a package known as the "MMO Construction Set" which will allow people to create their own MMORPG's on the cheap.

I can't see it competing with WoW but it sounds pretty awesome, check it out here.

I haven't mentioned the gates of Ahn Qirij opening on the various servers but I will for my precious Turalyon (because it's clearly the best server to be on).

WoW has now reached the six million mark!

That's partly thanks to the full launch of WoW in Spain including a localised version for Spanish speaking players.

TheInquirer.net has pointed out that WoW now has a bigger population than Norway :p.

Blizzard have said that 1.10 will be here soon. The public test servers are now live and you can find the patch notes here.

I'm sure it's been said time and time again that there are no plans to bring WoW to the XBox 360 but in case you didn't believe the reports...

"We do not have any plans to take WoW to Xbox 360. WoW is built as a PC gaming experience. Porting PC games to console often compromises games, and we'd never allow the WoW gameplay experience to suffer," said Blizz big-shot Paul Sams.

The 1.10 patch test servers are now als available in Europe.

Plus (and this applies to North America too), there are a number of contests running and the winners will get to beta test The Burning Crusade!

Contests include race to level 50 which will have 3000 winners (if enough people get that high :p). The contests open tomorrow.

A large amount of Chinese players have threatened to quit the game if problems are not solved and performance is not improved.

Players have been complaining it is taking them over an hour to get into the game (which they are being charged for as The9 who runs it in China bills players by the hour).

Blizz have launched a new "Guild Relations Program" in which guilds can apply for and in return for being a part of the WoW community get benefits and such.

To test some new hardware the Blizz staff are going to be pouring into Warsong Gulch between 5 and 8 pm as Horde seeking Alliance PvP competition.

As of today the following transfers are open to Korgath which is a new PvP realm.

Kil'Jaeden –> Korgath
Tichondrius –> Korgath

There is also a new PvP realm, Muradin which is now accepting transfers.

Doomhammer –> Muradin
Icecrown –> Muradin
Proudmoore –> Muradin
Uther –> Muradin

The transfers will both close on Thursday.
