First of all the new patch, 1.4 will be released in the EU this Friday. Secondly, North American players are getting 24 hours free due to patch problems. Also the official site has a slightly changed design.

The EU gets the patch tommorow and hopefully everything will go smoothly - at least more smoothly then when it launched in the US.

First thing I don't like about it is that /pvp is now toggle. So you can just attack someone and turn it off - that sucks, it's like cheating.

Perhaps this could open up the way for legal selling of WoW stuff in the future.

It has some cool stuff in. The first issues talks a bit about PvP honour, a spotlight on Onyxia (the big dragon) and a mention of battlegrounds.
Wednesday, April 27 2005

According to Games Radar, Blizzard are considering introducing a dishonor system to counter the problems created by the honor system - ganging up on weaker players, unblanaced classes, etc.

The game's lead designer said: "Trivial civilian NPCs such as quest givers and vendors will now give dishonour points to players that prey upon them. We haven't decided upon a specific penalty but it will be enough that the majority of players will not wish to engage in combat with those NPCs."
